The TX4 Series of forklifts by Taylor are specific 4WD vehicles designed for only one task. This task is to move material in the harshest environments. Some of the terrain these kinds of machinery work in consists of: mud, snow or rough or uneven environments. The TX4 delivers unparalleled performance and has become the leading choice for a lot of businesses.
Different compared to other comparable articulated lift truck units, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler specially and completely engineered and designed by Taylor Machine Works.
There are 3 different load capacities available. The TX4 articulated 4-wheel drive lift trucks offer the ability to out-perform the front-end loader lift trucks. Usually, to be able to achieve the same capacity from a forklift or front-end loader, the forklift or front-end loader must be bigger than the one hundred thirty two inch wheelbase that comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD lift trucks are true rough terrain lift trucks. They were made to have no deration in full turns. Moreover, this model comes direct from the factory with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Among the most powerful, very durable and highly maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain forklifts offered these days in the wood products business are the Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain lift trucks. The only producer in the United States who makes and designs rough terrain lift trucks with eighteen thousand pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Hence, they have become the leader within this specialized field in North America and have earned a solid reputation within this niche.
The TXB series of lift trucks all come with a a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge air to air or after-cooled diesel engine. Some of the basic engine features consist of engine/transmission protection systems and electronic diagnostic maintenance, less overall emissions, improved fuel economy and water/fuel separator.
The transmission for the TXB Series consists of a 3-speed, modulated, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, electric roll shift control and inching ability.
Taylor has built numerous machinery to handle the toughest settings. These types of machines have the capability to work at their optimum levels in some of the most difficult applications. They are both reliable and strong and made to last and get the job done in an effective and timely way.
In 2005, the corporation Pinguely-Haulotte was renamed Haulotte Group. This change in name brought the end of the Pinguely name after 124 years! The Haulotte Group is popular for manufacturing telescopic work platforms, articulated work platforms, trailer mounted work platforms, vertical mast-work platforms and scissor lifts.
On the 24th of July, the year 2008 the Haulotte Group acquired Bil-Jax, who was the US' biggest scaffold manufacturer. At present, Haulotte Group has one plant in Spain, three factories in France, one factory in Romania, near Pitesti City. There is a new plant that opened during the winter of 2008. This factory is 1 km away from the existing plant near the city of Pitesti in Arges County. The plant is called Arges II. There are also two factories within the United States, the former Bill-Jax.
Pinguely
Alexandre Pinguely established the Pinguely Company during eighteen eighty one in Lyon, France. At first, they constructed steam locomotives. The business eventually evolved into making machinery. In the year 1892, they supplied a steam engine to the Chemin de Fer de St Victor à Thizy.
Pinguely supplied 7 locomotives to the Voiron-Saint-Béron railway. In terms of numbers produced, Pinguely was not a main locomotive manufacturer. The company provided a steam train to the Chemin de Fer du Haut-Rhône during 1930 and by nineteen thirty two, Pinguely began making steam shovels. Production of steam locomotives was stopped and the company began focusing instead on mobile cranes and manufacturing earthmoving equipment instead.
Haulotte
Arthur Hualotte established the beginnings of Haulotte during nineteen twenty four, when it was called Ateliers de Construction A. Haulotte. This business specialized in the production of derricks, aerial platforms and mobile cranes.
Pinguely-Haulotte
It was decided that the actual manufacturing was to be sub-contracted to Pinguely-Haulotte. They were to be responsible for the engineering and marketing, design, research and development. All products were abandoned by Saubot so that the company can focus on self-propelled aerial work platforms.
